Main Cement Groups
The catalogue features three key categories, allowing you to select the cement precisely for your project.
- GÓRKAL calcium aluminate cements – a range of hydraulic binders with Al₂O₃ content from 41% to 82% and working temperatures up to 1750 °C. They are characterised by rapid strength development, resistance to aggressive environments, and the ability to be used at sub-zero temperatures. The GÓRKAL 40, 50+, 70, and 80 grades cover the entire spectrum of tasks — from general construction repairs and insulating linings to chemically pure compositions for reducing atmospheres.
- Sulfoaluminate cement (CSA) – a unique binder with ultra-fast setting and strength gain (from 2 to 6 hours). It provides exceptional frost resistance (over 300 cycles), water impermeability 2–3 times higher than that of Portland cement, and high corrosion resistance, especially in seawater. Ideal for winter concreting, emergency repair work, hydraulic structures, and high-speed construction.
- White cement – a powdered binder based on low-iron clinker, combining high strength with perfect whiteness. It conforms to the EN 197-1 standard and contains no iron or manganese oxides. Available as CEM I and CEM II with added limestone to adjust the shade and performance characteristics. Used in decorative concrete, architectural elements, restoration, sculpture, and wherever aesthetics without additional finishing are important.
