- Microsilica – a finely dispersed amorphous silica (SiO₂) with spherical particles around 0.1 µm in size. Through micro-filling and high pozzolanic activity, at an optimal dosage of 8–12% by weight of cement it delivers a compressive strength increase of up to 20–30% and multiplies water impermeability and sulfate resistance. Indispensable in high-performance concrete, refractory and ceramic products, and insulation materials.
- Metakaolin – an aluminosilicate pozzolanic additive produced by high-temperature calcination of kaolin. It actively binds calcium hydroxide to form insoluble compounds. Replacing 8% of cement with metakaolin gives up to a 15% gain in early strength and significantly increases the density, chemical resistance, and durability of hardened cement paste. It improves mix cohesion and reduces the consumption of expensive polymer additives and redispersible powders. Used in self-compacting concrete, dry building mixes, and shotcrete compositions.
